6 week open-level poetry workshop from Literary Cleveland:
In this open-level poetry workshop, we will take the directive to “shelter in place” as a writing prompt to explore where we live and how we live. We will find ways to get lost in our own homes and neighborhoods and see them anew through our poems. This course will offer students the chance to find stillness and possibility in daily life. Each week, students will discuss poems rooted in familiar landscapes and situations, and use exercises to write their own work. Over the course of six sessions, students will write five new poems, and have the opportunity to share work and receive feedback from classmates and the instructor.
